Empathy for ‘Yayboos’

Master of Scenarios:

Love your enemies: that would be helpful in these polarising times

The enemy is human nature – not humans

Love your neighbour as yourself (Leviticus 19:18)

We are all neighbours now

If your enemy is hungry, give him bread; and if he is thirsty, give him water (Proverbs 25:21)

An enemy is someone for whom you have a special kind of love

Among the Yayboos are family, friends and neighbours

They have difficulty with nuanced and critical reflection

They default to “Yay!” for their in-group and “Boo!” toward their out group

They do not know they are Yayboos

(We assume, in our practice, that you are a Yayboo)

Our challenge is to facilitate experiences that stretch their minds (and our own, of course)

Mythic hygiene is a strategy designed to accomplish this

Sinai Sessions are a tactical method, psychological journeys that assist mythic hygiene

Profoundly altered states of consciousness assist in the efficacy of Sinai Sessions

Deeply informed consent is essential, as there are dangers

Therefore, a sound educational experience is required

The first day of this workshop was that educational experience

Its purpose was to help you to decide whether you wish to continue

Now is that time to decide

We may be, or may become, a dangerous cult

Therefore, we must be eternally vigilant

Your mission includes protecting the community

From those who might pervert and exploit
